I am thinking of buy virutal dj and the time coded vinyl. For my sound card I have an E MU 0404 PCI, since it is suggested to have two sounds cards for the time coded vinyl I will most likely buy the same one I already have. So the question is does one have any information about virtual DJ and the E MU sound cards performance together? Also Is this a good purchase or should I get something else that would work better with Virtual DJ and the time coded vinyl?

The EMU-0404 don't have 2 Stereo LINE inputs (4 mono line inputs) you only have 2 mono line inputs. You cannot get connected this card with 2 TTs. The Creative option is expensive de EMU-1820 http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=237&subcategory=239&product=9870
I recommend you to get a M-Audio Delta 44 PCI or Delta 66 (if you want digital inputs and outputs). If you can get one, then use a X-Fi Platinum from Creative for $199...

Sorry but at this moment we don't know a $99 soundcard for TCVs use.

Maybe I missed something when I read the requirments for the time code vinyl. I thought that I needed two sound cards, one for each turntable. i was thinking that I would buy another sound card so that I would have four analog inputs (2 Left and 2 right) for my turntables, but from what you wrote it sounds like a need one sound card with all the input. Is this true?

Yes, you really only need 1 (one) sound card that has enough mono in-/outputs (4x in/4x out). The card must also support ASIO.
Delta 44 and Maya 44 is among the few cards that are supported for TCV/TCCD use. As mentioned before, there are several other cards that also are supported There are also diffirent interfaces such as PCI for stationary PC or USB for notebook PC, depending on what suits you best.

oh ya by the way is there an audio demo of some one cutting and scratching with the time coded vinyl? And how is the latency compared to that of CDJ's?
