Topic: VDJ skin for 1680x1050 resolution?

I'm considering an Acer Ferrari notebook for a dedicated setup with VDJ. It has all the good specs: 1G ram, 100G/5400rmp HD, fast video, Turion 64 2G...
But super hi-res video of the 15.4" TFT makes me wondering. How will VDJ go on 1680x1050 screen resolution? Does anyone use VDJ on WSXGA+ resolution? Are there skins available?
Is this usefull, meaningfull? Or will characters be to small and is standard 1024x768 XGA a better choice?

I've got that laptop. VDJ works really well on it, especially for video. The display is useable in its native resolution, its just in a window rather than full screen. You could also consider using one of the skins that go to a higher resolution.

li125: I can resize any skin for you to fill that screen. No offense, but you will have to prove you're not using a cracked version of VDJ though ;)

@frd1963 - I would appreciate the default skin resized for 1680x1050. I can download plugins as i'm a full registered user :)

I know a new skin can be made, but is a lager font in de database window also possible? On hi-res TFT's this can be an advantage then.
Using the default 1024x768 skin on such a hi-res TFT of the Acer Ferrari looks a shame to me.

In general there should be more widescreen skins..but I believe it's the pain in the ass as there are a lot of resolutions possible, depending on laptops. I would need a 1440x900 skin for example

Just tryed running the laptops res it 1024x768 - its actually really good..
ok, slightly stretched, and not the native resolution - but so what - its totally useable!

how do i put the numark skin on vdj i have just downloaded the trial version to try

There is a catalogue named 'Skins' in the VirtualDJ directory, that you may put the skin.
Change the skin in config when done.
