Atomixmp3 does not play gaplessly even with wav files. Inspired by the sound quality test, I did the following.

(1) Rip two gapless transition tracks into wav files.
Exact Audio Copy.
Append gap to previous track.

(2) Record one wav file by Atomixmp3

AutoMix Start: Beginning
AutoMix End: End
AutoMix Length: No Mix
Crossfader: Full
MultiInstance: enabled
All others: disabled.

(3) Look at the wav file by Cool Edit

There is a slight/visible gap during transition.

If I do the same with two mp3 files, the visible gap is just under 0.1 second. With wav files, it is about half of 0.1 second.

Also AtomixMP3 does not display play time correctly for variable bitrate mp3 files.

I played the same mp3 files (Lame 293, variable bitrate, V=0, q=0 (for best quality), b=192, -F, -m s)

winamp 2.81 and winamp3 and traktor player (all three are free software)

traktor studio 2 (another dj software).

All these four softwares displayed the play time correctly.

But atomixmp3 displays a play time more than twice it should be. When play the mp3 files, the sound is fine, but the clock runs (remaining time and time played) much faster.
