For those who wish to have fonts and browser lines etc. follow closely with your skins colour scheme, I have been using the following technique;
Load the page http://www.two4u.com/cgi-bin/color/compose into your browser
Use photoshop to detirmine the R,G, and B values
Have the java proggy calculate the Hex value for you to use in your .xml for your skin
eg.
text font="tahoma" size="14" color="#687658" format="%5,2%title"/>
whereas R=104 G=188 and B=88 as found with photshop.
