Hi, I tried to record my mix today for the first time with an external mixer.

But I seem to have a major problem.

I seem to record CH1 and CH2 regardless where the crossfader is. So if I have the fader to CH1 and I'm listening to CH2 with my headphones (syncing the beats), I only hear CH1 from my speakers but when I listen to my recording I get both channels so I get that messy part when I'm trying to match the beat for the next song.

Here is my config:
I have a Numark DM1002X
SB Audigy Gamer, C-media onboard(Asus)
I have the SB connected to CH1 and C-Media to CH2

Output to Active Speakers.

On my mixer I have this "Cue" switch and a "Cue Mix" knob with PFL and PGM (I have no idea what these are, if someone could explain to me what these are that would be great too)

I'm thinking maybe it's got to do with the above knob and switch but no matter what I change I keep on getting both channels in my recording.

Is there a solution to all this?
thanks in advance

One other thing,

I thought in order to hear both channels, you have to have the x-fader in the middle. and I thought the program only records what you hear from the speakers?

I am not positive but if you are using the trial version this could be your problem. I think that the full versions offers this support.
