Topic: EQ crossfading

Can someone explain how to use the eq crossfading? I need help with the technical and the technique. Thanks.

Pretty simple when introducing the next song u may want to cut bass, treble or mids out of the song that has been playing to do this slide the crossfader for the frequency you want to cut away from the player you are cutting out.

It works without any problem in Janosch's latest skin(s) like the Pioneer CDJ1000 (EXCELLENT skins you've given us by thw way, Janosch... but just to be a wise-ass: there's no s in pitch ;) but with some skins the EQ-crossfader just raises or lowers the EQ for the overall output = it's like raising or lowering the EQ for both tracks the same way.. one should be raised as the otherone is lowered.

audiopyle: if you are wondering how the EQ-crossfader is supposed to work check out that skin.. and for the technical stuff (how to make it work that way) I suggest you read the XML-file for that skin or post a question to the skin-designer-guys in the Skins-forum
