I tried to record a set using Atomixmp3 and an external mixer. While I was mixing, it sounded great. I used Creative recorder to record it. When I tried to play it after, It had a bunch of skips. The wav file of my mix was ruined. I have a 700 mhz PC w/ 64 mb of sdram. I know I need more ram, so I closed all programs running in backround while I was recording. This allowed Atomixmp3 to run fairly smooth while recording, but still the final product skipped like crazy. Any ideas?

I have a 700 mhz pc with 256 mb ram and have no problems recording with creative recorder, so I think you answered your own question....

I guess so. More money to spend now.....but its worth it!
