Topic: Creating background music for mixing

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi does anyone here know how I create background music and stuff for mixing? You know how on some songs they have clicks, beeps etc? P Diddy & Rodney "DarkChild" Jenkins (as well as Murder Inc) are good at that type of stuff (Check out "This is Me" by Dream and "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child as well as "Rainy Dayz" by Mary J Blige Ja Rule & "Honey" by Mariah Carey among others)...and thats what I want to do. Are there programs for creating them?? I see now that you use turntables to add stuff to mix together and not use them To make the effects. I know it kind of sounds confusing but I hope someone can help me!

Just use a song thats the same bpm and add pieces into the mix. Also I reccomend Acid Pro for beaking the music down and remixing it.

You'll most probably end up shitting on your keyboard. Software doesn't have a physical presence, remember?
