I really think there's something wrong with the "magic button", I've disabled the auto-pitch reset button but still I get many troubles with the beat matching.

The beat match button isn't disabled or so, it's just very weird that If you press the magic button the BPM still wrong is.

could it be that the bpm it is trying to match is incorrect?
Do the peaks match each other still?
If so, then maybe you need to check the bpm or better still, set them manually.
