any ideas where the Scale Down audio effect is located and can it be installed to an earlier version ?

VirtualDJ 2026 was the major version that introduced a lot new effects and completely rewrote others.
Scale Down is part of that release.
You cannot get it with any version earlier than version 2026 which is build 8962 released on Dec 16, 2025
