Hello,
I am a huge fan of virtual DJ, and generally appreciate everything that you guys add. However, I am wondering if there are plans to make a more fully featured 4 deck GUI. I am also currently using an ultrawide monitor, which completely breaks the GUI's scaling.
The AI features you have been adding are OK I guess, but beyond stem splitting there is really no chance I am going to use them. We can already make shaders using any other LLM, and there is no 4 per month limit (and things generated outside VDJ allow beat move detection). The lyric detection feature seems to be way too hit or miss to consider using live. I'll admit that the new beat detection modes sound interesting, but I'm not even sure how to test it currently.
I don't think adding AI features is necessarily bad, but I imagine that if it's all you guys focus on you will eventually fall behind in basic features and usability. Feel free to ignore me - just thought I would share my thoughts.
Thanks :)

What's missing in the 4-deck GUI in your opinion?

Other than 4 full decks, other things that could be done boil down to personal choice.
My rig is modular as hell so I can stick extra dials, buttons and indicators in any bit of space that atomix hasn't already claimed, even with the 13xx*768 I'm stuck with, and it makes sense for me but probably only me.
A default skin is kind of constrained to the common hardware features, sure it could be mouse driven but... meh mouse.
I'm not sure there's much scope for ultrawide as a default other that 4 full decks, after a point it just means bigger with not much real value added.
A user made adaptation could be made, but if you're getting it made then there's design choices to make [you're hiring a skinner, may as well get something custom], and adapting the default to another resolution is more or less a full skin rewrite, you can keep the default aesthetic but every single element would need resizing.
