Season's greetings to everyone!
I am unable to use my Pioneer DDJ-SB3 with VirtualDJ in 4 decks mode. Here are a few experimental observations that might help:
1) If the controller is already plugged in before starting VirtualDJ, the "leftdeck" and "rightdeck" command mapped to the deck switch button have no effect. This is with default mapping.
2) If VirtualDJ is started first and the controller is connected later, the deck switch works for a few seconds only on the left side and then stops working. This is with default mapping.
3) If I add a custom deck switch button mapping "deck 1 leftdeck ? deck 3 leftdeck: deck 1 leftdeck" , the deck switch works. However the volume faders do not work correctly, and continue to control only deck 1 and 2 even when the decks 3 and 4 are active.
4) The pads/loop/FX LEDs behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. Play/Cue LEDs seem to work fine consistently.
All the above observations are all on this setup: Macbook M3 Pro Sequoia 15.6.1, SB3 firmware 1.0.3, VDJ 2026.
The same controller works perfectly as expected on my older laptops with Macbook Pro Sonoma (Intel chip) and Windows 11 (MSI).
I see older posts describing similar problems. Has anyone found a fix other than downgrading the OS?

@DJDAD: Thank you for your response. I have faced the problem that the note refers to before and I have used a 'fake' SB3 master out when using an external audio device to get around it too!
Unfortunately that is not applicable here as the SB3 is actually being used as the master and headphone out. And additionally the pad/loop/FX LEDs arent working either. I dont think that has anything to do with the audio device selected?
