Disclaimer: This is more of an annoyance than a problem.
Over the last several months, I have noticed that on my MacBook Pro, the left CMD key selects all the tracks in the currently viewed folder. The right CMD button does nothing, which is what I expect unless the CMD key is used in combination with another key.
I checked my keyboard shortcuts and my other settings and can't find what makes this happen. Any ideas?

Anybody else experience this? Or is this likely an issue somewhere between my Mac and my settings?
FWIW, when I got to my keyboard shortcuts in VDJ, when I press the left command button, it registers as "CMD", but when I push the right command button, it registers as "RIGHT CMD". I've never paid it any attention before because I never had this issue before. It sucks because my muscle memory is set up to use the left CMD button in my key combos. But now, that left CMD button selects all the songs, and in order to select multiple individual songs, I have to use the right button.

I personally never experienced this. Maybe you should check that your keyboard layout is what you think it is and you didn't accidentally change it.

I tried that, and to the best I could find, I didn't see a reason why...not the end of the world, but frustrating nonetheless.

With the default mapper in place, in order to select all songs on browser, the key combo is actually CMD+A (Command All)
So, is there any chance your keyboard malfunctions and when you click on left CMD button it also registers A as well ?
Can you check that on another application ?
Open TextEdit, and type in some text. Then press left CDM. What happens ? Does it select all the text ?
PS: VirtualDJ natively does not have an action to select all tracks on the browser. I mean there's no "browser_select_all" action or something similar that you could use on a button.
The selection is done purely via the OS commands, like CMD+A, CMD+Click, Shift+Click, e.t.c.
