Topic: Help with mapping reverb to a button
Question. When I have the VDJ reverb on and toggle the hardware effects with the paddle, this turns off the reverb. Ok, I get there's no way around that.

Now if someone can help me step by step. PLEASE!!!! I'm not good with software. I would like to map some button on the REV 7 so when I toggle the paddle to use a hardware effect and the software reverb gets shut off, I can program a button on the REV7 to turn the reverb back on.

What button should I use and how do I do this? No matter what I try, the default mappings come back. I'm at the point where I might return this device and just stick to my performer. I need some help, in basic easy step by step language. Everyone on here seems to be an expert at this. I'm asking for help. PLEASE........

No help?

Maybe it's because nobody actually knows how to do this.

Try the Facebook group, it has a far larger pool of users than here.

Figured it would be a simple thing, no?

You have to be careful as altering one thing can have an effect on other functions of the unit. Not a simple one in this case.

You can't tag people on here but Locodog, DJDad or PhantomDeejay could probably offer some help on this.

Yeah, I tried mapping it to the slip button, but it started screwing other things up. Thanks.
