Topic: Static in sound
Hello. I did a mix last night that I recorded, and the end result: static in the recording. I've always dealt with a static sound in my speaker, but I just bought a new controller, (DDJ-Rev1), and now that same sound is occurring in my recording. Can anyone offer any suggestions on resolving this issue? Thank you in advance.

I have had a digital hum with all my controllers and have put it down to the PC. I initially had an i9 9900k with the 3080 on an aorus z690, I used a DDJ-RB. The buzz was terrible. The USB died on the controller so I picked up another from a friend who wasn't using his. Same issue.

I then purchased a DDJ 1000. same issue but not as severe (static stops when i unplug the USB), so I purchased a USB C-A chroma cable (this further reduced the static to around -60db)

I then upgraded the PC changing the motherboard, cpu, memory and everything else, except the GPU. Static still there.

I pulled the GPU and ran with the Intel and the static was still there.

The only way round it so far was to set up a second output in VDJ to my Soundblaster AE7, then I capture the audio from that straight to WAV using audacity.

When I live stream I will pickup the audio in the same way. If I am using vinyl as well I have to use the line in on the Soundblaster, this then causes the static. So I add in a noise suppression filter to remove it.

I have been looking into an iSilencer, but have seen mixed reviews.
