Topic: Drag and Drop Edit Mode
Hear me out. There should be a way to create a selection, hit a button maybe called 'hot edit' and add the selection to another song on the lower deck or completely remove a selection from a song and process it into a new file. This would be so helpful because I have a lot of songs with annoying tag lines in the front of the file and to be able to cut these out on the fly would be awesome. It would be awesome to have the ability to quickly make drag and drop edits similar to Ableton but in an easier way. I use Ableton Live as well but if V-dj worked in a similar way where I can edit with it, it would be amazing.

Check out the Track Cleaner (although it won't do drag and drop of parts + multi-file edits currently).

Keep in mind, general audio editing/(re)production is really not an aim of DJ software - that's the aim of a DAW, which you already have.
The aim of DJ software is to provide an environment that allows for pleasably blending already prepared music live, (normally) for an audience.
Most DJs are doing what you are asking in a DAW (Live, Bitwig, FL Studio, REAPER, Serato Studio, etc), and importing the result for usage in DJ software.

(Just my opinion) The separation of concerns is a good thing - the focus can be kept on the aim and doing it well. When you start to expand the focus, normally you end up not being exceptional at/noticeable in any of those things because of the time to develop being distributed among them.

If by tag lines you mean the (generally spoken) name drops of artist/producer/remixer, why not use the stems functionality to mute the vocal during that section? You could even record the result for future use.
