Topic: how to start the 2 decks simultaneously ??
Is there a way to start the 2 decks simultaneously and in sync with one key press?
I want them to play the same song and on one deck I can listen to it normally on headphones, while on the second it plays on the main out using the stems so that I can keep the vocals as intended.. lowered or cut them off

ok that works if both (same) tracks are in the same position (e.g. Start position)
I also made a deck 1 pause & deck 2 pause
but what about if each deck are in different position in track or if i jump one of decks to another position? how to make the other deck sync position?
How to make e.g. start both decks from position of deck 1?

another question:
can I make the deck 1 play & deck 2 play & sync button act like deck 1 pause & deck 2 pause when pressed second time (and decks already playing)?
 
use 
clone_deck
or 
clone_from_deck
 
Note that “clone desk” is available in the standard interface, if 1/ one deck is loaded 2/ other deck is unloaded
(also, beware of volume when cloning, depending on how your faders and crossfader are positioned and your crossfader curve !).
 
I solved the same problem by creating shortcuts with the start commands for the various decks. Then, for example, you can start them all at once by pressing multiple keys simultaneously, using keys #1-4 for example.
