the platinum was released 2 years after v7 was discontinued.
I'd suggest moving on to a v8.X build, other wise you'll have to write a mapping and definition file for the device and still have to deal with v7's broken history.

I was able to map the NuMark Mixtrack Platinum mixers knobs and sliders. The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to map the wheels. If anyone on here is familiar with mapping, any assist would be greatly appreciated.

Everything will be fully mapped in VDJ 8, plus there have been a massive amount of new features and improvements since 2014 (that's TEN YEARS ago!).
