Topic: Latency: Audio Drop-outs on Windows 11 22H2
Latency (annoying dropouts of music): Get sporadic drop-outs of background music at mainly 1 venue though I did get 1 dropout at another venue too & even several here at home. The venue where I get a lot of drop-outs has a weak wifi signal respective to where I set up so I end up with no wifi connection. I've disabled the wifi adaptor driver in the Device Manager at this venue but still gotten drop-outs. Can also disable the other network adapter which will kill my ethernet cable connection to my router. May try that tonight & run digital mixer just on tablet but I did the optimizations in the following link & in testing here at home, latency showed good enough for no drop-outs or glitches: https://community.acer.com/.../windows-10-optimization.../p1
Tested at 2 gigs and latencymon software showed latency was good for audio all night and I heard no glitches (https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon).
Tonight is the acid test: taking my latency-optimized laptop to the problem venue that has had a lot of audio dropouts.
Anyone had similar experiences? I am on Windows 11 22H2 gaming computers.

Hi
Yes big problems windows 11 latest build its not VDJ after weeks of loading drivers updating a new laptop latency was still a big problem.
This helped big time for me just make a back up of your system or restore point as you are going into reg edit also a windows clean boot then do this.
So windows only loads needed drivers to start.

latency monitor is a must to check the above the link disables Windows defender which is the main problem as i said my new laptop is now running nice no red latency reports.

I wouldn't recommend uninstall ingredients system drivers personally.
