There's a window that pops up when a skin fails that gives you the line it failed at, only it's visible for 20ms before it vanishes,
I didn't even notice if for the first dozen times as a swore at the xml, after pouring over the xml looking for the needle in the haystack, I caught glimpse that there was a message, and I had to screen record to see the message.
...np++ xml tools have become really bad recently...
