From the description in the handbook it seems that both, Smart Loop and Quantize, do the same job: aligning manually set loop points with the CBG.
So, what's the exact difference between these two options? When should I prefer one over the other?
Your answer is appreciated.

smart_loop is for the length of the loop.
example: you push loop_in wait 4 beats and push loop_out. The set Loop is correct 4 beats long.
quantize_loop set the start of the loop on the grid (globalQuantize).
example: setting globalQuantize is 1 beat. The Loop is placed directly on the grid.
