Hi,
I am trying to use a blank pad space under Sampler menu to give me a quick gain boost when I have song that I am playing that sound soft. I tried assigning the a pad with the gain 'auto' but it boosts it +12 (12db boost). I then tried changing 'auto' to just a value like 10% or 0.02. the idea is just to punch it. but no matter what value I put in, it shoots the gain knob up to +12db.
I also went into options and changed auto gain to none. the results are always the same.
Any suggestions?

If on the same deck as you wish the gain:
else:
where X is the desired deck gain to boost
gain 70% while_pressed
else:
deck X gain 70% while_pressed
where X is the desired deck gain to boost
