Even though I have changed the headphone cue/pfl buttons on my Traktor Kontrol S8 to select
the unselected cue lights remain on, as opposed to single switching, like my other previous controllers.
Have I forgot to add an extra command?

First possibility / solution:
It is possible that the LED has its own command. So you maybe have to search for an address/key that has something like the name of you button, and additionally "LED" in its name. There you can change it to the necessary command if there is an extra command for the LED.
Second possibility / solution:
It could be that the LED of your controller is "hardcoded".
Means that no matter what you program into your software, the LED only listens your hardware.
Pioneer mixers, for example, like to do that, too.
Some hardware can switch to "softcoded" or "Midimode" or "Usermode", etc.
But you have to figure out what counts for your device.

If not mistaken, there is no MIDI/HID Out message available for the PFL buttons of S8 (software cannot turn the leds on/off).
Those are controlled from the hardware by pressing the actual buttons, because the mixer channels can work in standalone mode too.
