Topic: Allen & Heath Xone:Dx mapping problems.
I have a Xone:Dx in perfect working order. My Window 7 laptop is having cooling issues so I am trying to switch to a Win10 system. I downloaded the newest version of VDJ, I have a lifetime pro pass. When I copy my device definition and mapper files to the corresponding folders it doesn't work. When I try to manually program it creates a mapper file but no device definition file. I think there may be issues with my definition file but can not figure it out. Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

What Build/version of VirtualDJ did your old Win 7 computer have ?
The definition is placed in /Documents/VirtualDJ/Devices folder ?
Can you post here the <device ... /> line of your definition ?

Version 7.4.1

<device name="XONE:DX Midi" author="Bird" type="MIDI" decks="2" vid="0a4a" pid="ffdd" drivername="XONE:DX Midi">

<mapper device="XONE:DX Midi" author="Bird" description="XONE:DX Midi" version="741" date="20/05/2016">

I installed the older version of VDJ on my Win10 system and got it working but have some crashes if certain features are used. It will not open custom skins and effects cause crashes. Everything works fine on the laptop but the cooling fan is failing so it overheats.
