Topic: Upgrading from Denon mc4000 dj controller
mysticaPRO InfinityMember since 2008
Hi guys,

I've been djing using denon mc4000 for a while now, never had any issues with it, sound quality pretty good.. but now I'm looking to upgrade a bit to something with much better sound. And I'll still like to get something around the same size or a lil bit bigger. Any recommendations will be appreciated
Thanks :)

Im sure the Denon sound is fine, and "much better sound" probably related to your speakers if missing anything .. :)

Upgrade to a "better" controller.. Perhaps Denon Prime 2 (or 4)
Or Pioneer DDJ-1000

But so many others that can be recommended as well. Depends on your needs and preferences
Can look here for some inspiration:

Thank u for your recommendations.
Think I might be going for a Roland dj 505 or pioneer ddj sr2.

Anyone use both, which do you prefer pls?

I use Roland and the sound is excellent

I also use the Roland dj-505 and apart from the different way effects are handled from Serato where you can switch the assignment of the effects between decks, the virtual DJ implementation works great. It also supports split pad pages.
