Topic: History Stopped Working
Hi. I'm running the latest version of VDJ on a Win 10 i5 laptop. For some reason, VDJ stopped keeping history in Sept. writeHistory = Yes and I have not changed it.

I've uninstalled, then reinstalled. After that, I played a few songs. History was not recorded.

History only works if you play tracks for more than a certain period of time (default 45 sec), and only if the track is audible
As a rule of thumb the history feature kicks in at the same time the track is marked as played
If the tracks are in fact marked as played, then maybe look at the OS file rights in the history folder

Watching ... I've not had history for ages - everything ticked as should be - I sometimes get a real patchy history of an set with 80% of tunes played missing,

As above check your history delay setting and make sure the faders are up.

my history has stopped also in September
and i have done all the usual checks so dont ask
all the jobs i have done since then are not recorded in history

This is likely connected with the relocation of the home folder.

Klaus has done a comprehensive video on this to show how to fix it;

Hi Greg again I tried everything.
Nothing worked
I then changed my interface back from a download to original and suddenly history working again
