This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just messed up my database..grr.. After I researched the reason, i noticed that when i start VDJ, its make me two database, one to default location -> C:\Users\xx\Documents\VirtualDJ ....and second is F:\ and that is my removable drive. Why is this happening !?

Ok, seems the reason was playlists, i'll delete all and now VDJ not make me second db, very strange. Is that normal playlists affect db that way ?

databases are made on any disk that has tracks on it, if you have tracks on F it will make a db on F

Can't say with 100% certainty but I think it goes like this
each drive letter is given a base2 value, A = 1, B = 2, C = 4 etc

so if you put the value 3 in vdj will ignore drives A & B
