If I'm playing a song that is getting near the end, I'd like it to jump to the instrumental part and loop that continuously. What's the correct way to do this in vdj for individual songs? I assumed I'd create a Saved Loop for the instrumental, and a Cue Point at the end of the song, but I don't where to put the code to tell it to jump and activate the loop.

make your jump point, an action poi
you could mark your loop with a hotcue
and do something like this
hotcue X & loop Y

Thanks locodog! That's just what I needed. I had to make it 'saved_loop y' though.
I think I could add a little more logic to this and have a single button that when toggled would play the instrumental in a loop when it reached the end of the song, and when untoggled would jump to a mix out point at the end of the loop. Very cool!

I have the same need. Jump directly to the loop in the instrumental part of the track.
