when missing file stay in karaoke or sidelist playlist, openning the playlist from tree in browser make VDJ saying Checking karaoke or Checking Sidelist
task bar icon showing green advancement
right click on missing file hangs VDJ and most of the time ends with skin restarts going on saying Checking karaoke or Checking Sidelist
after some skin restarts, VDJ ends its job and all is fine again with other folders
but VDJ stops responding for some time or skin to restart when right click again on missing file
this is not happenning within history files

You get a hang as soon as you right-click, or when you select relocate?
What do you mean by skin restarts exactly? You mean a crash and restart?

rotating circle appears as soon as right click, sometimes menu appears quickly before skin restarts some other gray screen "not responding" just for a momment

What's the path of the missing file? Is it pointing to an unavailable network drive or some other location that might be slow to respond?

Yes, it was a connected usb stick, with device driver in a unstable state
