Topic: Saving changed BPM every time a song is loaded

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

If I change the BPM of a song is there a way to have that change apply every time I load that song?

Thanks for any advice!

you can edit bpm in tagedit or bpmeditor to fix it forever
you can add an action poi to set it at firstbeat
but take care of smart bpm setting too

Your changes are remembered in the database by default.

(and are only ever reset to what it used to be if you explicitly right-click and choose re-analyze)

I think he means he wants to play a song faster or slower than its original BPM (i.e. change the tempo fader) and make it permanent.

So for example, the song is 120 BPM. He wants to always have the song play at e.g. 125 BPM.
