You need to provide more details, like the hardware you're using.
Skin FPS does not really affects the sound by it's own. Most likely a setting on your Graphics card forces it to draw more power and that exposes an underlying issue with your entire laptop.
However in order to be able to troubleshoot we need to know the full hardware specs.
