have tested with existing and with just created folder and have been unable to add tracks to either one.
this is with win10 desktop and on both 32 and 64bit versions
update: I can add from automix list, I can sometimes add from music folder (all from onboard drive. have not tried external drive)
if I add from sidelist I get inconsistent results - sometimes it loads them all into the virtual folder...sometimes it loads 3 out of 4 tracks

Both adding tracks to a playlist and a virtual folder works ok for me when using EA b4580 32-bit on Win7

seems to be working here tested only with 64bit.
how are you adding them? .. i tested drag and drop on folder
ok i see does not work if you create a new Virtual folder then try it.

Correction:
When I add a bunch of files to an empty virtual folder in b4580 32-bit, not all files get added
It seems that it's 1 file missing most/all of the times I tried
