Topic: DVS noob question, can i remap buttons on the mixer.
PsyntexHome userMember since 2018
For instance i have 4 cue buttons on my mixer i don't really use and i was wondering if there was a way to somehow program the mixer cue buttons to one of the buttons in virtual dj like flanger, sync, loop etc

Regards

Yes, MIDI buttons can be remapped. That's the whole idea of mapping - change it to suit your needs.

Don't you think it might be helpful to state exactly what mixer you want to use? Not all mixers have MIDI mapping capability.

BTW how are you going to cue if you don't have cue buttons?

It's not supported yet so you can't map anything at present.

You don’t need a new mixer. Just some patience until it’s supported.

You can still map basic functions like the cue button, without native support.

Yes, putting the stylus on the vinyl is the first part of cueing, but you still need to put the mixer into cue mode to pre-listen to the track...
