Topic: How to promote yourself as a DJ and get customers for your services

I'm a 15 years boy and now earning school fee. Hope you guys can help me.

Yes you are spamming.

You've posted the exact same message, trying to sell your mixes (also not permitted) in at least four different areas of this forum, and on your profile page.

They'll only get removed by a moderator, if they haven't already.

What's more - even if you offered mixes for free, recording and distributing someone elses copyrighted material is illegal unless you have purchased a license that gives you the rights to do so. It would be better to earn your school fees legally, don't you think? Are your parents aware that you're doing this?

Use facebook to promote yourself, and twitter, make a facebook page , even make a webpage about your DJ services (free at blogger.com, wordpress.com etc... )
Because noone that will book you are visiting VirtualDJ forums (likely), here you only meet other djs ;-)

Social media are good places to promote your services... ;-)

I changed the topic as well, could be an interesting one, about tips on where to get customers, how to promote your DJ services etc..

Unfortunately now it makes the OP's post nonsensical. A bit like his pricing actually.

Instead of paying 100 dollars for a 60 minute mix, just buy a 50 minute and a 10 minute one (total = 25 dollars) and splice them together. :-) Not that anyone here would pay for a DJ mix anyway - it's a forum full of DJs, many of whom have been mixing for longer than the OP has been alive.

Again - Spamming is against the forum rules, selling is against the forum rules, advertising is against the forum rules.

I also said that the mods would be coming after you. Looks like they did.
