The Deezer VDJ plugin does seem to be vastly superior to Spotify.
I've just got a fast Deezer stream of The Night by Frankie Valli.
I wonder if its as good on a Saturday night?

As stated several posts ago, Slized bread - and then Spotify plugin! Amazing. (Would appreciate if it Could save the login credentials.) And, experienced some crashes with it. But all in all. GREAT!!! tyvm!!

Presumably the same is true of the newly available Windows version? Has anyone tried it yet?
The Algoriddim press release on the DJWORX review of djay Pro for Windows does say [quote] "djay Pro is the first DJ software on Windows with official Spotify integration". Note the word "official". Does this mean they're using a different API (not the public one)?

I don't know what all the fuss is about, Spotify is practically useless on VDJ, I use Djay Pro and it works perfectly. I don't even use my HDD library anymore

They blame spotify for the slow loading.
Actually, bullshit cuz Spotify IS working fast on Djay Pro software.
Loads in seconds and faster than a ssd drive.
So VirtualDj moderators, Pls fix this issue cuz it's not spotify causing this but VirtualDj itself..

Unfortunately that's not true
The standard open API for Spotify has this limitation built in
So you need access to a none-open API within Spotify, which it looks like Djay Pro has gotten access to
Maybe Djay Pro paid for it. Maybe it's a strategic collaboration. Who knows
But unless Spotify lets others - like Atomix/Virtual DJ - get the same access, there is really nothing to be done
Luckily the Deezer integration doesn't have this limitation
