Topic: audio only visualization wave lag

When I use audio only visualiations my waves start lagging, I changed the milkdrop8 for some other visualizations from sonique and nothing changes, as soon as I turn off the video everything looks good but im afraid its goin to freeze or sutdown, in september averything was perfect, how do I know which version i was using then so I can go back, now im using the latest vdj version v3471 using the intel hd graphics 4000
windows 10pro, 64 bit, intel I7, 16g ram, nvidia card
