Topic: No sound in BPM Editor

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I can't figure out why half the time I go into BPM Editor, I get no sound. I use internal soundcard. Master 1&2, Headphones 3&4.
What am I missing to set this correctly?

The BPM Editor should output the sound on your headphones, therefore on CH3&4 of your soundcard.
If your build in soundcard does not have those many channels you should remove the headphones entry from your audio setup.
This way BPM Editor will output it's sound on master, but it will warn you first since you don't have headphones connected anymore

Both of my Laptops are up to date and both have this problem.

And your laptop has one output connected to your speakers and another one connected to your headphones?

It works if I'm plugged in (USB) to my Pioneer SX2. Sound are Pioneer card, Master 1&2, Headphone 3&4. Set to cue on the deck I want to use BPM Editor, it works through the headphones.

I don't use my controller at home though. I used to be able to use Editor with my laptop's soundcard, speaker or headphone.

My backup laptop worked fine until I updated the build on it too. Same problem on both.
