Topic: How do convert Promo Videos?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I purchased a Video set of Hair Bands, Vol. 1-5. I was told Itunes would work. I even have used Roxio Creator 2012 Pro. Nothing will read the files correctly. They are listed as "chapters 1 - 59 on the first DVD" no file extensions". Roxio just changed them to Mp3s no video. I am searching for a remedy to this problem. Promo was no help in helping.

I use DVD Decrypter to extract video from DVD Promo Only to theVOB.
and then convert them to MP4-H264 with Handbrake or Nero Recode

DVD Decrypter is the tool I use, but I don't bother converting once I have the VOB files ripped from the DVD. VOB's play great for me.
