I meant to say I cannot play all the tracks with virtual dj

I am assuming you have a download script. I heard there may be Promo Only compatibility issues with VDJ which is why I get the disks. Not sure why. How many tracks are affected? Check the file ext, does it read different? Just curious as I wanted to subscribe but shied away.

Yeah I do have a script and I have been using it for a while but some of the that I download from the actual software won't let me play them. It only says error

Strange, never come across that problem here in the UK, bit of a pain I know, but instead of losing the tracks altogether have you tried converting your none playing ones to wmv format, you could also contact Promo and see what they say about your dilemma.

I was just thinking. And maybe this is too simple but did you move them to another folder and maybe the path is off? Try cleaning and re-searching. I just don't know how to check drive in V8. Try seeing if you can go to the folder in my computer and see if the drives match.

Use 7 to clean it up, then try it on 8...

You can clean on 8. Right click the little round button on the left side. Check database and clean.

I have been using PO platinum digital download for the past 2 years and have not had any issues with any of my tracks, whether audio or video. My best guess is that the download is either corrupt or did not complete. Is the file playable in Windows Media Player? If so, then it might be an issue with your codecs would be my best guess.

been using Promo Only for the last 5 years never no problem here. ?
