Thanks for the responses!

I think the coffin will stay.
I am in a big hope that the size/weight will be paid-off by the comfort on set up and teardown.

I just set all the cables/power bar permanently.

Glad you decided to keep your coffin.

Here is my thoughts though. I have a roadie as well.

Pros
- mount power supply
- all your cables are in one spot ready go
- Everything is exactly where you had it at home practicing
- faster set up time
- Faster tear down time
- protects your gear during travel
- keeps most cables hidden from crowd
- Is professional in appearance
- Fits on any standard 6 foot table no problem
- will help you keep in shape (if roadie doesn't help you)
Cons
- May need a GYM membership (weight) Not a big deal for me have roadie

I would like this same system but first Pio will need to have a built in USB hub in their mixer as I'll be dammed if I'm using an external. I see Traktor mixers and Serato mixer have built in hubs so the DJM series should have this feature next time around, saying that it did take them years to add a sound card.

Yeah, that's quite a bit of a problem. I just did a workaround for this and I was quite satisfied with the cable install that I did.

BTW...

With the recent experiment that I did (added modulars on the gliding-tray), I can now use this set up running 2 softwares at the same time.
Usually my back up can be considered as another setup, sitting on the side (with a mini-controller), now all the controls are in the center in-front of me.

PS: The white USB cables were used for testing only. I have them all in black now.
