If I were to sign up with a record pool, would I be able to download songs from 2008, for example?

Record pools generally are designed to provide you with the lastest radio and chart hits.If you need to build your library with some old school or classic hits I would suggest Itunes.By the way, Top hits USA is one of the best hit music services.Another is BPM Supreme.com.

I have been using www.my12inch.com as my record pool. They have both current and classic music. They also have video as well. It may be worth checking out for you.
