I'm having a problem with my maya 44.
I tried to download the driver to my Dell Inspiron N5110 & every single time I get the same exact message " unfortunately the installation failed Error (0x00006).
Hopefully somebody can help me out.

I tried all 3 of my USB port when installing the driver & got the saem damn message all three times. Everytime I plugged the usb cord of the maya 44 into one of the ports the orange light was as bright as the red light is. But maybe 5 seconds later it got a lot dimmer.

It seems like all 3 of the ports are bad, would a power hub help this? Would the hub even work if I don't have 1 good port?

My Inspiron is a Windows 7 64 bit laptop so I downloaded the latest version 2.9.53.

Doubt the ports are dead. Doesnt other USB gear work on the PC?
But the red light that dims out, sounds suspicious..
Try completely remove the driver
(in windows device manager or maya uninstall if it has)
Try turn off any usb power save features that Dell might have active :
1) Turn off USB suspend

And also try turn off USB power down at the USB device in Windows Device Manager.
