Just got mine 10 min ago - yes!!!

I was gonna get one, but I really don't like the mirror image on the control surface. When I had my NS6 that was the thing I could not get used to.
I would love to know how it performs in real world application though.

Got one and I love it (replaced a Numark N4) Closest I can get to actual vinyl. I only wish that VDJ would release a map for it. Serato DJ is ok, but not as stable as VDJ pro and not as many features. Any word on if and when VDJ will support it?

Numark is sending us a unit. A native mapper will be available soon.

For mobiles I like the all-in-one so I don't have to lug around separate backup cd decks if the laptop takes a dive. I haven't gotten into the whole having an extra laptop thing but I've thought about it...but for now it seems it would be a waste of good money when I could get through the night with cds and since I only DJ Friday Saturday nights the week gives plenty of time to get the laptop repaired or buy a new one. I like the looks of the SX but I just purchased the XDJ-R1...it will be here tomorrow.
I guess this means I will have to finally update to 7.4. I hope my laptop won't have any issues. 7.2 has been rock solid.

I would love to try one out but
1+ on I really don't like the mirror image on the control surface
but I will try one out when VDJ works with it.

I installed it and tried it out for 10 minutes. Will try it out tonight for my 1st work day of the week. We had some CDJ-900's but they get used about 54 hours a week (9 DJ shifts) for the last 3 years. They were pretty worn out. I think I'm going to have to read the manual to get figure out how everything works. It sure looks pretty.

So I only got to spend about an hour and a half playing with it. It came in at 9 this morning and I had to start my bobbie bar shift at 12 - andof course I took it in!
So after the frustration of just getting it running here is a brief description ( most of you prob heard the same stuff of of youtube or whomever but here is my 1 cent. IM so broke after this, i dont have 2 cents.
Mind you I have only used denon gear (currently a 6000) and other than virtual dj for software it was PCDJ back in 97 - so I am a bit overwhelmed and frustrated
1 - yes its big, beefy and heavy. Its definitely not cheaply built.
2 - The platters are fantastic!
3 - the touch to kill eq - is pretty bad ass
4 - i Dont like the strip search
5 - i dont like the pitch range - it goes from 8, to 16, to 50. Where did my 10 and 12 go?! l Love that range
6 - the pads are great. the slicer is sweet.
I will really be able to get into it over the weekend as Im sure some of the others here will as well - there really is so much to learn with this unit and Im really not comfortable with Serato on a gig yet. So its back to the bedroom where it all started 21 years ago, and Im gonna love every minute of it -
PLEASE HURRY WITH MAPPER, lol - I know, I know, it will be ready when its ready

See this is what makes me angry - NORWAY, When I was talking to Chris from Numark at the EXPO in AC he had said he was giving you guys one that week , IN August! This could have been addressed and ready to go or closer to ready to go - today, the day after its release.
Now of course I am not behind the scenes, but they are affecting quite a few users IM sure by not having this ready to go...numark that is

Think its been pretty hectic with releasing the unit for Numark ;) they have sent us a unit, so it shouldnt take long at all before the mapper is available for download

Instead of getting angry, show a little understanding. Chris also told you the release date was October the first. Well that was pushed back, and I am sure it had nothing to do with him. People make good faith statements all the time, but everyone wants to hold their feet to the fire, as if it is written in stone. He made those statements based on the info that was given to him. Well, obviously the info changed, and the units did not ship as planned. Are you telling me that you have never made a good faith statement, and things changed beyond your control, and you could not back your statement up? This is life, sh*t happens. Let's not hold others up to a higher standard, that we cannot rise to. We have control of very little, in our lives.
Two guys with a total of seven kids, go to get coffee, tell their wives they would be right back. They never came home. Some 15 year old kid, rams into them, all three are dead. The legal age to drive in NJ is 16 with a permit, and you can't be out without a licensed driver. This kids is not even supposed to be on he road. This happened two days ago. Maybe we should beat these guys up, because they told their families, they would be right back.
Update This kid pinned a suicide note to his chest, so he intentionally killed himself and these two guys.
