Topic: White flash at the end of a movie in the clipbank.....

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi Form,

I use a lot of presentations (120 seconds) in clipbank (looped) for on the big screen in our club.
At the end of the clip, before it loops back to the beginning, there is a bright white flash (frame).
This is not in my clip!

When I use a media player (also looping the clip) this doesnot happen.
Can this be fixed?
A black frame would be a better option then a white frame in a club....! ;)

Please advice.

Thank you so much.

It may help if you can loop the videos you are now using, do you or can you use video editing software?

1. Make sure there are no empty black frames at the beginning and end of clip, if there is, edit those out.

2. Looped video does not mean just pressing a button for it to repeat, looped means a continous item where there is no discernible beginning or end.

3. After making certain of number 1. try taking about cutting 2 seconds off the beginning of the video and attaching it to the last frame of the video and re record it as one, once again no black frames on video at end or beginning.

Try making the recording in WMV in HD.

Sorry for the instruction bit but I have to assume you haven't tried this.

Any chance of getting a copy of a video that you use.

You could try Essential Media which has faithful play back of many video formats and many other features.

EM allows 48 videos at a time and can be saved or loaded in groups of 48 at any time.

It appears your video is fine if it loops well in other players.

EM 2.5 adds audio only and image files to the mix and other features.

EM 2.5 is still in beta but if you want to try that email me:
