V7 needs to be updated as long as there are new controller coming on to the market.
A solution would be for VDJ Pro to download required mappers direct from a server in real time but that isn't there.

It may not be an embedded function and it would not help those that do not put their gig systems directly on an internet connection.
But we do provide and we have provided, when approved by the manufacture; the release of the mappings prior to PRO updates. And this is has been done through our Downloads section for Controllers. So to say something "isn't there" is pretty broad when we do have a solution in place to get support for a controller ahead of an update being released.
