Topic: HELP!! Whenever I use SYNC it works for a bit and then gradually goes OUT OF SYNC!! Numark NS7

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm using VDJ 7 with my Numark NS7 and whenever I use the SYNC function, it works but gradually goes out of sync within a couple of seconds.

When I tested it without the NS7 it worked perfectly fine.

Please help me

I think the sync only works with licensed versions. Kidding. you should license your version tho, you may get more responses. Here's the thing with sync, and please take my sarcasm with a grain of salt as its not meant to be offensive - you have two better instruments on your head called ears, use those to "mix". Practice, Practice, Practice...stop taking the easy way out and learn your trade

I'm currently learning that for long term but for now I'm relying a bit on the sync function So, Is there anyway to fix the problem..

Use your jog wheels to "nudge" the track when it drifts. That is what they are for. Take the controller OFF of scratch mode and try it out...Works fine for me...

Use the pitch bend buttons to keep it in line. Don't depend on the sync button.

i think the djs have spoken, use YOUR dj skill to keep it locked. technology is just a PART of djing. don't mean to be negative but in the long run you will be a better dj. practice practice practice....btw i use NS7 as well.

yes sir...words of wisdom

Funny, my friend is also experiencing the same problem with his NS7 and Serato itch.

Yep, seems to be an NS7 problem rather than VDJ.

Google for "NS7 sync issue" and even just the Serato forum is full of people complaining about sync (and they're using an NS7).

Some of the posts are from 2009!
