It's great to hear you made it and you're home ........
Somebody upstairs likes you buddy , i'll tell you that .....
Having a serious medical problem is terrible of course , but you were at the docs ......
usually people don't get that lucky.......
i didn't know you smoked
i quit a long time ago when my daughters were young , because of them really
it was very difficult but i did stop
do ANYTHING to stop.... just stop
i used the Crusty the Clown method...... (multiple patches which you are not supposed to do) but i was weak and
going cold turkey .......

Well done to anybody who's summoned up the willpower to quit, I've tried a few times but never gone much more than a month or so. It's a habit that has pretty much forced me out of DJing thanks to the UK smoking ban - I used to chainsmoke behind the decks, and having to find a long song to put on every half hour or so is not very professional! Glad to hear you're on the mend though Paul, take it easy dude.

Welcome back mate....:o)
Now, any news on Firetext...? Hahahaha...oh, wait, i've already got the full unlimited version of the program...:o) :o) :o)
Just kidding. On the road to good health is a good place to be and well done for kicking the habit. I've been 'giving up' for a while myself...although I always manage to find that spare seven quid...:o|
Anyway, take it easy mate and give me a holler on skype when you get a chance...got some stuff to discuss with you...:o)
Cheers...and keep spinnin'...(",)

You're taking a nap??? What about my video clip??? I need that tonight. Not for nothing, but you had that heart attack on Monday, and it's Saturday. Some of us real DJ's, have heart attacks, and get right back to work. Now stop sitting around crying, and get back to the club, Have a couple of drinks, a big greasy double cheeseburger, a lap dance and a smoke.
On a serious note, I know what you are going through. I welcome you to the club. Not the heart attack club, but the surviving a heart attack club. That whole dying thing, and resting in peace, is a bunch of bullshit. I am not that tired yet. I just celebrated a milestone birthday, and it was great. Take the rest that they are forcing on you right now, and enjoy it. Because you will be back to the same grind, as soon as you feel better. I wish you a speedy recovery, and hopefully, we both have a lot of years ahead of us.

I understand, I used to really enjoy a pint and a smoke behind the decks but this ban has changed all that and to be honest I'm really glad. I only really smoked socially with a beer so quitting was easy being a DJ!
Good luck quitting anyway.
