What should be the correct registry video sttings to prevent vide playback freezing.
using win 7 64 bit, VDJ 7.05 pro. 2gb ati video card. 16 gb memory.

Limit your card to 1024. Exactly half of your cards capacity.
Note: That is the case with my Nvidia card. I don't think it is any different with ATI cards but if half does not do the job try dropping down to 512. It is a good idea to stay in increments of 128. So 128, 256, 512...you get the drift.

I had some freezing when my skin was the wrong resolution for my screen settings and I had it maximised. So either get a skin that matches your resolution or run VDJ not maximised. That was my issue.
