Hi, Sa mga kabayan ko from Philippines... Just want to know kung marami bang Professional DJ's sa Pilipinas ang gumagamit ng VDJ? versus the two DJ software competitors?

Hello Cesar - sa mga professional ibig mo bang sabihin ay yung mga sikat na sumasalang sa malalaking club/bar? if yes, i would say 4 out of 10.
based on my experience naman as a mobile dj here in our motherland 8 out 10 uses VDJ. however, only very few are using the legit software - sad but i can't blame our kababayans as we're on the 3rd world country where illegal software are rampant and it's like a way of life now a days just to save a penny..lol

Thanks Gab, baka dominant ang Traktor dahil Native Instruments paid so much money to DJ-Qbert para i-advertised nya ang Traktor at saka sa atin basta sikat tiyak gagayahin. Maraming mobile DJ naman kasi sa atin basta gumagana lang ayos na sa kanila importante marunong mag-mix. The only things which i hates so much, karamihan sa mga PRO's DJ (yong mga sumalang sa club) sa atin kapag sinabi mong Virtual DJ gamit mo tingin sayo small time newbies (mababa agad impression sayo-ika nga sync DJ) which i don't see any valid reasons. Mayron akong Serato & Traktor pero mas gusto ko VDJ as i can do a lot of things better than those 2-compettors.

Very true brother. Parang attitude din ng mga DJs sa States parehas na parehas satin if ur on VDJ apps.
Well, i think it just so happened that we're the type of DJs with an open mind set. :)

Ako pag mayron nakakaharap na ganon ang ugali, parang nanunuya at nanglala-it sa VDJ Pro, i only just ask one thing. Ipikita mo muna sa akin yong kaya kung gawin sa software na ginagamit at siguraduhin mong magagawa rin ng software na gamit mo. Sabagay wala pa naman napapatunayan ang Serato at Traktor. Last year 2011 world music award "BEST DJ SOFTWARE" pa rin ang Virtual DJ Pro two-thirds of the judges voted VDJ to the top na hindi kayang sungkitin ng Serato at Traktor it will ages for them bago nila siguro masungkit yon at maabot ang kinalalagyan ng VDJ sa ngayon. Wag lang sana pababayaan ng VDJ ang concern ng mga user.

in terms of development they are very keen naman on it. actually our kababayan DJ Ranes is one of the VIP member and a beta tester here for the future releases of VDJ updates.

I'm sure competitors will be left far away behind again with the new release of VDJ. Teamers should take a look and put some of the user concern seriously lalo na doon sa mga bagong features & stability of VDJ. Lalo na ngayon lumalaki ng lumalaki ang VDJ dahil sa pagkakabili nya sa ADIONSOFT isa sa mga pinakamalaki na software company i'm sure that merging two companies together siguradong may mga idea of improvements i'm sure adionsoft engineers are not now get involve in VDJ development. I remember when APPLE bought NEXT/PIXAR SOFTWARE COMPANY and after ten year again apple bought MACROMEDIA sana nga ganon gawin ng VDJ to his competitors heheheh... hindi malayong mangyari yon dahil ang adionsoft ay malaki binili nya eh yong serto at traktor pa kaya? eh they are very small companies that do DJ's softwares only. Just thoughts anyhow thanks.

Maybe on the next release of VDJ there would be merged of software engineering technology at siguradong kasama na doon ang mga Adionsoft engineers and software wizard to take the calls at yon ang abangan natin, as i could think off it would be big bang to the two competitors. At ngayon marami ng gustong gumaya sa VDJ like Gemini kapareho ng VDJ yong interface nya, also Allen & Heath develop his own DJ software tools called MIXKEY at marami pang maglalabasan nyan.
