If you got the full version of vdj pro, you should email support with your purchase details so they can correct the mistake and you will be able to download the mapper once it is fixed... They are very good, they were able to tell me their problem with my credit card when I originally purchased pro, so they should be able to track your purchase.

You have purchased Broadcaster - look your Download Center and Profile - it says Broadcaster.

The new firmware v3.0 is only available in the Gibson forum for the moment and it's necessary to be registered to download it.

Please help me to install my scs.4dj in midi mode. I have downloaded the files but nothing happens when I turn the controller into midi mode... What steps should I follow? I need it for a gig soon! Thank you very much.

Problem with mapper solved but no way of setting up my external sound device (Alesis I/O2 Express) in midi mode in order to do a prelistening (PFL) for each deck... snif!

I have owned my Stanton SCS4dj for almost a year and used it with one active speaker to do mobile djing. All of a sudden I am having problems with the speaker going in and out. I was doing a gig and was 2 hours in when it went out. I thought it may be the speakers until I bough a new activce speaker and tried it. I had the same problem. Then I thought maybe I should hook both up so the power coming out would be more balanced on the output. It stopped cutting out but I had a little feedack. The speakers are differnt models and wattage so maybe I need to fool with the output levels of both to find good settings? Help!!!

Hello, guys ! I am having trouble with my setup No sound in headphones and I can't control Master Volume on Stanton as well:( I am using Stanton SCS4DJ as midi controller along with Virtual Dj Pro, I just update firmware on my Controller to current which is 4.0.1 My sound card is Juli@ . How come there is no sound in Hedphones i don't get it... It's works fine in normal mode...

I have a scs.4dj with vdj8 and have mapped my mpd32 to trigger hot cues and samples. My question is what command is used to trigger deck A hot cues? or deck B? I'm using hot_cue 1 but it doesn't distinguish A or B so it jumps back and forth. And also I would like to map the vdj8 custom buttons to the scs.4dj hot cue buttons.. Not sure what to assign to them but I wont need two sets of hot cue buttons. I prefer the mpd32 for hot cues. Any Ideas?

Hi, i have the scs 4dj, os 5.0.1. After the upgrade i am having issues with all usb drives recognising all usb. I have to reboot the scs 4dj a few times (5+) for the usb to he recognised.
Q: how long after boot up should i wait. Is 24 hrs acceptable
Q i am a it engineer and have been trained/experience to recognise faults and this seems to me to be a boot issue as the unit works fine once usb drives are recognised. Any tips anyone

24 hours is rather excessive with version 5.0.1...I had the same issue in the past when I was running version 4 and earlier, it took forever to load, and would lock up almost immediately and was practically unusable as a stand alone system, so I just used as a midi controller forever, but would also keep a VERY SMALL flash drive (512 MB or less preferred) 1 GB MAX with me in case of computer crash.... but make sure you are using the correct format with the drives. NTFS is best, but since you are still having major lag, you should probably format it as FAT 32. Also you should be analyzing all your files prior to putting the drives into the SCS 4 DJ with the newest version of QUICK GRID and be sure you are running version 5.0.1 of the firmware. If you are following all of these steps prior, then just be sure to let the machine analyze you're drives while you are at home, or not at a gig and PUT YOUR DRIVES IN THE BOTTOM BAY and DON'T REMOVE THEM AFTER FINALIZING ANALYSIS!!! In the newest firmware, the software has been set to retain the memory of your drives even after multiple power cycles (ONLY IF YOU DON'T REMOVE THE DRIVES BETWEEN CYCLES!!!) So, after you deal with the long ass loading time once, you never have to deal with them again. I hope this helps... I have been super excited about the newest state of the SCS 4 DJ, as I believe they prematurely released the system years ago without it being stable enough to even feel comfortable using it in a live set. Now, since having the newest upgrade and testing it thoroughly at home, I've used it to play out multiple times. Hope this helps shed some light on the problems you have been having, and helps you get your problems under control. Have a good one!!!
